Mitra Council Office

The Mitra Council Office (MCO) provides support to the Mitras for their projects and activities. The staff helps them carry out the work associated with their mission of holding the view for Nalandabodhi and supervising the practice and study paths. The MCO communicates and works with the Nalandabodhi sangha and other Nalandabodhi staff, as well as outside organizations and individuals.  The staff maybe contacted through  mitrasecretary1@gmail.com

 

Mitra Council Office Staff

SusanSusan Busby, Mitra Council Director of Practice
Susan became a formal student of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche in 2002. She also is a director of Nalandabodhi Connecticut. Susan works with the Mitras to develop meditation practice material and assists Nalandabodhi students with questions about meditation practice.

Susan is a divorce mediator and principal of the Law Offices of Susan Busby, LLC. She has a B.A. in English Literature from McGill University and a J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law.  Susan enjoys spending time with her teenage sons because they are lots of fun.

Donna AllenDonna Allen, Mitra Dean Assistant

Donna supports the mission of the Mitra Council through assisting in the activities of the Mitra Dean.

Donna is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, in private practice at Bodhi Tree Therapy in Seattle, Washington. She has an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy, a B.S. in Art Education and a 200 hour yoga instructor certification. Donna employs traditional as well as complementary and creative methods in her approach to psychotherapy. In her down time, she enjoys being outside, rain or shine.

Keiki serves as interface between MCO and NB website and its staff.

Keiki is a MDiv student working on her internship at the Denver VA Medical Center and writing her Master's thesis, with special interest & focus on Trauma/PTSD as a spiritual wound. After graduating she plans to continue as a chaplain in her residency at the Denver VA. Yoga and running keep her sane.
